Cookie Policy
Last updated October 2, 2026
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. The short version for this site: the only cookies it sets are Google Analytics cookies, and only if you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you decline, Google Analytics doesn't load at all.
Cookies This Site Sets
Only after you accept analytics. They help me see which pages are useful, in aggregate. They aren't used for advertising.
| Cookie | What it's for | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Tells visitors apart so Google Analytics can count them. | 2 years |
_ga_<ID> | Keeps track of your current visit (session). | 2 years |
Your choice itself is saved in your browser (as analytics-consent) so the banner doesn't ask again. It isn't a cookie and isn't sent anywhere. Google's own explanation of these cookies is in Google Analytics cookie usage on websites.
Cookies From Other Services
These services provide parts of the site and may set their own cookies when you use them. They're responsible for those cookies under their own policies.
| Service | Where it appears | What it's for |
|---|---|---|
| Gumroad | Every page (it powers the checkout window), and the checkout window itself when you open it | Runs product pages and checkout, keeps your cart, and helps prevent fraud. Cookies are mainly set when you open a Gumroad window. |
Links to Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, Topmate, and Calendly take you to those websites. Their cookies apply once you're there, not while you're on this site.
Do You Need to Accept Anything?
No. Analytics cookies are off unless you click Accept, and declining doesn't change anything else on the site. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie Settings at the bottom of every page. If you switch from Accept to Decline, the analytics cookies are deleted.
How to Control Cookies
Besides Cookie Settings, you can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. Here's where to find them:
If you block third-party cookies, the Gumroad checkout window may not work. You can still buy directly on Gumroad's website. The email sign-up forms are part of this site and work either way.
Changes to This Policy
If I add any other cookies in the future, I'll update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it. For how your personal information is handled, see the Privacy Policy.
